Orthognathic Surgery

The growth of the lower and upper jaws is a slow and gradual process. During this process, the jaws may grow more or less than normal. Deformities in the jaw and face may be congenital or may occur later due to accidents or diseases. The incompatibility of the lower and upper jaws with each other and with the face causes discomfort in patients both in aesthetics and in functions such as chewing, speaking and sleeping.
